Five Infiltration Wells Built in Setu Urban Village

Five infiltration wells are being built in RW 04 Setu Indah Settlement, Setu, Cipayung, East Jakarta.

Construction has been carried out since mid April and targeted to be completed in early May

Cipayung Sub-district Head, Fajar Eko Satrio mentioned, construction has been carried out since mid April and targeted to be completed in early May. Those infiltration wells are expected to overcome inundation that often occurs during rainy season.

"We plan to build five infiltration wells in Setu Indah RW 04. This is done to overcome inundation that often occurs during rainy season," he stated, Wednesday (4/28).

Development of 19 Infiltration Wells at Nyiur Melambai RPTRA Completed

According to him, those five infiltration wells were built by deploying one drilling machine to speed up drilling process with depth of 15-20 meters. This drilling machine is provided by local residents.

"Construction is carried out by 8 Water Resources (SDA) Unit from Cipayung Sub-district. So far, there are no obstacles in building those infiltration wells," he explained.
